We strolled down to Old Town this afternoon and enjoyed going up to the Bush Pilot’s monument. From what we’ve learned from the Prince Of Wales Heritage Center these pilots made a real difference to the NWT, so it is very fitting they are honored...More

Provides unobstructive view of the great slave lake and the city. I was able to see the Ice Castle and downtown very clearly from the top.

It is a part of Yellowknife, but not a whole lot to see. However, good strolling area along the bay area.

The view is really great but be careful of the slippery pathway covered with snow! You’ll definitely take a lot of photos. And the ice castles is nearby.

Nothing much to say about Pilot’s Monument Hill, but climbing the stairs rewards you with a great view over lakeside Yellowknife, the house boats and Great Slave Lake.
