Winnipeg is truly fortunate to have the WSO and other musical and artistic events to attend that get us happily through the winter. Our Winnipeg Orchestra is outstanding! Highly suggest all travelers should if they can, take in a concert, some are very exciting Rock & Roll, Jazz, and not the usual straight hair stuff. Very casual attire and relaxed atmosphere. Specials usually available and great value packages especially for students and young adults. Give them a call or check online monthly for what is happening Children's concerts are exceptional and CHEAP!.

Bought ticket to win car and won symphony tickets. Liked the chandeliers, tickets and stuff for sale, food and drinks for sale, but I LOVED the cake!!’ Saw a women had one of each kind lol. I’d buy symphony tickets just for the cake with the classy atmosphere. Went November tenth and it wasn’t that great. Too depressing. Would like to see a more upbeat show. Had a good time though.

They offer such an array of music from the classical classics to modern pop.
The conductors are engaging with the audience, and the pre symphony talks or young musicians concerts are always special.

My boyfriend and I went to the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, who had partnered with Rainbow Stage to produce the musical South Pacific. It was amazing! Rainbow Stage has very talented actors/actresses who did an outstanding job with this musical. The only issue I had was since they did such an amazing job with the acting, you were drawn into the story so much that it was hard to also focus on the orchestra in the background! However, the music was exceptional. I would love to go back and see another performance. If you are a music lover, you should definitely check it out! Tickets can be pricey so I think booking early is the way to go!

We LOVE our Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra (WSO). We have been subscribers for many years and the only time we are disappointed is when the season ends! We always get one of the Flex packages-- there is lots of choice and we can combine from the various series. The tickets are super easy to exchange when you need to. Go and enjoy!

It was enjoyable and hilarious. I enjoyed the music but the sketch was very good too.I learned a lot about symphonies from a comedic perspective. I have only been to the symphony a couple times, but this one was more of a play then a symphony.

We saw the soundtracks live series and it was amazing! The conductor Robert Shore, I believe that's his name, was great and funny and informative. The music was fantastic playing some of my favourite movies! Definitely worth seeing!

This Xmas concert was great. Great songs choice and a vibrant personality which warmed us up more on this cold Manitoba evening.

We went to the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra en famille and were just so impressed with the quality of our seats (purchased online) and the wonderful sound of the hall.

We attended the Russian Fireworks, with the WSO and the Winnipeg Youth Orchestra and the enthusiastic audience raised the rafters with shouts of Bravo!, thunderous applause, and a standing ovation.

We put on our party clothes and enjoyed a wonderful evening of delightful music. Really, drive to Winnipeg if you can for some of this heart healing sound!

Last time I went was new music festival. Was great stuff. Got a giant cookie and my friend and I had a good time, some people were kinda loud and rude but that wasn't the WSOs fault. :^)
