    Fan Tan Alley
We came here to go through the Fan Tan Alley and the other alleys. They were so cute and fun! We loved the shops and there was heaps of different food stores. The vibes at this China Town are so nice, it wasn’t too busy and small but still very special. “Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

    Trendy, historic alley
Running between Fisgard Street and Pandora Avenue, this narrow alley is brimming with character and history. It's the narrowest street in Canada and a central piece of Canada's oldest Chinatown. It's worth reading up about the history before you visit, although there are informative display boards providing some details. Now it's a trendy spot with more than a dozen locally owned shops and boutiques.

    A Fan of Fan-Tan!
You get to quickly go down this notable alleyway in Chinatown in Victoria. Fan Tan Alleyway is worthwhile if you’re in Chinatown, but not worth a special trip to see it, I’d say. Neat shops to check out, a quick pic stop. It was a quiet day when I was there, so not much was open. It’s a unique part of Victoria and Canada, so check it out if you’re in the vicinity!

A must visit when in Victoria
I discovered a charming alley in Chinatown that is a must-visit when in Victoria. The alley is incredibly narrow, probably less than 6 feet wide. It is quaint and very characteristic of Asian culture. I highly recommend exploring this alley.

Fan Tan Alley is a very narrow alley in Chinatown, Victoria, British Columbia. It has shops either side of the alleyway.

Just a short alley with nothing to see. Was expecting “life” in the alley but most shops were closed and it took us 1 minute to go up and back.

Stumbled upon the alley while walking downtown and was instantly charmed. The cute shops and narrow passage was such a fun treat.

This is the perfect combination of a small street with mini restaurants. Enjoy the flavor, the mood, the people, the ambiance and come here. You will love it!

Cool atmosphere but not a lot of shops. Need to know what you’re looking for before you go to see if it’s worth it for you.

This was a nice little surprise while going through China town. Nice little shops, really cute place and a neat little cut through to the next block.
