Lots of choices for food, a nice, spacious lobby, located in a good spot, and comfortable seats. The ads and promos were a little long but once the movie started it was great. I really have no complaints beyond the lengthy promos.
It became a joke. Another car commercial. This after the regular promo stuff. easily 25 minutes of commercials. I had rushed to be on time. They didn't.
And over $4.00 for a bottle of water. I won't be rushing back.
This theater was many movie choices and several stations with food and snacks. I went early mid-week and avoided any crowds. Seats are comfortable and snacks are good. While visiting Vancouver, I went there twice. My only complaint is that the signs directing you are...More
Splurged on D-Box UltraAVX seats for "Black Panther". The premium motion seat was jarring and clunky at times. The motion was out of synch with the action on the screen. It also went from soft to jolting a couple of times which was a distraction,...More
Good cinema overall - good picture/sound quality, comfy seats, good range of movies. The food places to are okay too (just had the chicken burger but was nicer than expected). Will be heading there again soon - now my cinema of choice.
Movie theater it’s self is nice and modern.
What I didn’t expect was the 25 minutes of commercials before the move started. There was maybe one movie preview in there but the rest was just straight commercials, this after paying about 19 dollars per ticket....More
We visited the Scotiabank Theatre when in downtown Vancouver for a few days as it was opposite our hotel.

Located in downtown Vancouver near the sutton place. Went to a movie here the first time while in Vancouver. Nice theatre. Pretty busy on cheap Tuesday. That's when I went. Excellent location since you could go to dinner then to a show within a short...More
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy
social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
