Downtown especially Robson street had a lot to see and do. Shopping was great and food choices were endless.

Stayed at the Vancouver Hotel in the top floor. Had an amazing time. Our room was huge. Had 2 doors. loved the view of the city. Wish we had stayed longer.

Fun downtown area - plenty to see / do There are quite a number of homeless who will come and ask you for money etc - unsure what the city is doing about this. Downtown is easy to walk.

I was there in September and I don't believe Vancouver has much snow. We were told many Canadians retire to that area because of the "warmer" winters. However, Whistler has snow almost all year round. It is about 90 min... More

Vancouver is a "walking" city with great public transit. Whistler is a great little town, but if you only have one day, I would skip it as it's quite a drive there & back. Instead, I would enjoy Stanley, Granville Island... More
