We enjoyed the Orchestra and DooWop Project tonight and it was excellent. The wonderful sound of a magnificent Orchestra with the familiar sounds of classic songs. The theatre was amazing and a great venue.

A few friends took in an afternoon performance at the Orpheum VSO featuring Stefan Jackiw, violinist and Jun Märkl, conductor. Violinist is very talented. The conductor was a little off the traditional path but told a story of the music in a positive, welcoming manner.

The Orpheum Theatre is a stunning venue and we got to hear the Symphony play the John Williams score to Raiders of the Lost Arc as we watched the movie on a large screen behind them. A fun evening!
