Chelsea was an amazing instructor for our 2 boys aged 9 & 11.
She took the time to capture both their attention and imagination during their lesson. I highly recommend her and Tofino Paddle Surf if you are looking for a safe, informative and inclusive experience!!

Maria took us out surfing today. We had a fantastic afternoon. Despite the fact that non of us ever went surfing before she managed to teach and encourage in such a fun way, that all of us actually surfed. Gliding through the waves was awesome.

We had the best experience with Tofino Paddle Surf! Our instructor had been surfing for many years and was very knowledgeable about the water and technics. Both my boyfriend and I were able to stand up and actually surf before the lesson ended. I would definitely recommend the private lesson with them - we saw other companies on the beach at the same time in bigger groups and none of them did as well as we did since the instructor had time to help us more. It was both our first time surfing and without the help of our instructor getting us into each wave we would not have had as good of a time! 10/10 recommend!

We booked private lessons for our two families, with 4 kids aged 5 to 13. The instructors didn’t seem interested in helping the 5 yo learn after she had a bad ride. I understand 5 is young, but if it’s too young don’t let them book. I also would recommend that they switch to Cox Bay instead of Chesterman. Overall the guides seem unegaged.

We had an amazing experience with Tofino Paddle Board. Booking over the phone was very easy. They provided all the surfing gear. Alex was our surfing instructor, he was very knowledgeable, polite, attentive to details and after two hours or so my 13 y.o.daughter and I were able to ride our first waves!! Highly recommend these guys. It was our first time surfing and it was the highlight of our family vacations and one of the best days of my life. Thanks so much Tofino Paddle Board.

We had a great session today with Marcel learning to paddle board. This was the first time out for us and Marcel was great at teaching us how to do everything as well as going through the safety aspects. By the end of the session we were standing up, turning and managed to get out into some choppy open water to test our new skills! Great fun and would highly recommend for kids and adults!

Fantastic crew at Tofino Paddle Surf. Great location, ease of access, super friendly staff and really engaging coaches. Friends were visiting and their son tried surfing for the very first time at age 12 and he loved it and even got up a few times. Great price too for the rentals and lesson. Couldn't have asked for a better day or place to rent from!

Less than ideal conditions at Chestermans. Very windy for Surf SUP. Jacob was terrific with his lesson and encouragement. Highly recommend tofino paddle surf. Can't wait to try it again with less wind. Be kind be calm be safe. Cheers

Amazing! Thanks for coming paddling with us.. Jake loves what he does and hopefully you're hooked on surfing like we are now :)

My son and I had a private lesson with Renato. Amazing! With his knowledge skills and teaching my son was able to stand up and ride a wave on his 1st try!
This was my 2nd time, once again with my instructors help I was able to also ride a wave. Highly recommend, this is a life changing experience.

Fantastic, fun surf lesson with Sam at Tofino Paddle Surf. Sam was brilliant with our teen age children and with their (older!!) parents!! Lovely guy, chatty, fun and VERY cool. Taught us basic steps; children got up several times and had a great time! Thank you Sam!
