We had a wonderful trip through the Sound. While not as lucky as others in terms of wildlife sightings the scenery is truly magnificent. Get on a boat and go and explore!

We sailed along the inlet watching bears eating seafood from under the rocks. It was magical. We saw a deer swimming, porpoises circled our boat. The seals played together and the sea lions honked noisily. A group of sea otters dived beneath the surface when...More

We kayaked through Clayoquot Sound. It is peaceful and a beautiful piece of nature. A place to spend some time and take it all.

We went out on a RIB. Loads of fun. Saw several bald eagles in the tops of trees and sitting on rocks. Watched a couple of black bears on the shoreline foraginng for food. Views were fantastic. Had a great time.

Book yourself a boat tour to visit this beautiful area. Tonnes of wildlife - we saw sea otters, seals, bald eagles, bears and whales on multiple trips here. Use a small boat company who care for the wildlife and will not impact their environment. Recommend...More

Beautiful, raw, wild and free. When you need to draw on the power of nature to provide inspiration and a waterscape that can ground you through your roots into the ocean we came from - this is the place. Pure magic. Always.

Beautiful tranquil place. Lots of excursions go out this way for bear watching trips. Lovely peaceful location even so.

Unpredictable. Dress in layers . Water is always cold. Anyone I have ever observed in water paddle boarding or surfing definitely had a wet suit on even in summer months. Gorgeous place!

Yes, although the ocean is noted for being rough there are protected coves. It should be a great place to kayak and has every possible convenience.
