We had a great time tasting here at Sperling. The staff was super nice and there are a lot of different great wines here. Definitely recommend checking it out! The riesling and the chardonnay was unreal.

This was the last stop on a day of wine tasting at local wineries in the area and provided a great end to the day. Our host, Maddie, was very welcoming, informative and friendly provided great insight into the history of the winery and the make up of the wines. We enjoyed all of the wines that we tasted but especially liked the Foch reserve and the Market Red. The Foch will be enjoyed with our family Thanksgiving dinner.

Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome. Smaller winery but one of the oldest. Decent wine average price with tasting fee waived after bottle purchase.

I enjoy visiting wineries. Most of the time I leave pleased. Not so this time.
My first issue was the hand sanitizer offered to guests. It was heavily scented and totally spoiled the tasting as I could not smell any bouquet other than perfume. I suggested they get a scent free one. I am surprised they have not been challenged on this before.
My second issue was the tasting and fee. I may have been spoiled in Naramata recently, but three tastes (albeit decent pours) for $10 seems expensive. Add to that, the fact that they only eliminate a tasting fee for the purchase of three bottles (nine in our case since there were three of us). In Naramata, at three wineries our fees were waved with smaller purchases.
My wife and daughter only liked one of the whites and I could not really appreciate my tasting because of the hand sanitizer scent. We did by three bottles but based on my prior knowledge of what we liked.
We are not very likely to return.

We visited Sperling as part of a wine tour and are so glad it was on the list! The manager, Paul, was so lovely and informative. The property itself made us feel like we were right at home with a playground and a property dog named Dexter! This was also the only winery I purchased wine from as all the wines we tasted were delicious! 100% recommend. Thanks for an awesome time, Paul!

When we arrived we were greeted kindly and given an amazing sparkling white welcome taste. Our group was treated like royalty upon walking on property. The hosts today, Taylor, Sarah, and Paul were all very kind to us and set us up with beautiful picnic tables next to their vineyard. The speritz pet nat is highly recommended. Definitely visit this female led vineyard.

No view at this small winery but the great reds which are uncommon this far north more than make up for that. Add the friendly service and ability to bring your own picnic make this a must to visit.
