Our private jetboat ride up to Rainbow Falls and back was very scenic and relaxing. Our party ranged in ages from 17 to 70 years old and we all enjoyed the tour. Our guide was Molly, she handles that 25 foot twin engine jet boat like a pro and assisted us on and our the boat as well as led us up to the falls and took group photos of us as well. Could not have asked for any more than was provided by the staff of Harrison Eco Tours.

Molly was an excellent and knowledgeable guide, answering all of our questions on the 1.5hr eagle watching tour we did. The covered part of the boat shielded our 5YO and 3YO from the wind and the extra blankets kept them cozy. We saw eagles, seals, and all sorts of jumping salmon! It was truly a unique boat ride that we would highly recommend as a great family outing!

We booked this on a whim as we visited Harrison, Hot Springs, at least six times in the last eight years and we’ve seen these tours, but never went on one. What a wonderful experience! Molly, our guide/captain was amazing! Very knowledgeable, very friendly, gave us lots of time to look around and we saw more eagles that day than I’ve ever seen in my life, it was breathtaking! The river is gorgeous, the boat was comfortable. We were warm and we had lots of time to take pictures and look around at the scenery. I highly recommend this Eco tour it was great.

Harrison Eco Tours
90 minute Rainbow Falls Tour and Walk
Did the tour first week of September 2020 in the afternoon.
Scenery was nice through the boat ride.

We were given about 30 minutes ashore to walk the path up to the falls and return to the boat.

Friendly captain/staff member onboard running this excursion.
Distancing encouraged upon boarding along with requirement to sanitize hands before getting on board.

Did find it very noisy riding on this type of boat once out of the marina area and we sped up. Not relaxing but still beautiful surroundings to see. The brochure mentioned this was a leisurely boat ride up the Harrison Lake but felt more like a rush to get around the lake. Like a partially covered speed boat ride. I had fun, but did not come across leisurely in person.

Wish we were informed upon boarding that sitting in the back corner of the boat that we could get wet with the constant spray from the lake. The back of my tee got instantly soaked when we sped up, along with my legs. Took me off guard.

The whole day was wonderful. Our guide, Sy was a friendly, knowledgeable guy. He was helpful and knowledgeable about kayaking and the area. He gave us good tips on controlling our boats as well as history on the area and information on local wildlife. He was safety conscious and encouraging. We had a blast! Paddling back to shore was a bit strenuous due to strong winds, but he stayed with us with lots of encouraging words. We all made it safe and sound

Paddling amongst the mountains was the best. We were lucky enough to spot a bald eagle. Harrison Hot Springs is a cute little place. We had a great guide, Carla, she was very patient and engaging with all of the participants.

Went on the eagle watching Harrison River tour and had so much fun we went back to the tour office and booked the Rainbow falls tour as soon as we finished the eagle tour. We got splashed on our eagle tour but we looked at the advertising and the open position on the boat and realized it's a jet boat so it's going to be noisy and water might splash up and get on us. Would do another tour with this company with no hesitation at all.
