Four women seniors did this hike. The lakes are a beautiful colour and each a bit different. The hike is more challenging than reported by other raters as there are several steep areas up and down with exposed rocks and tree roots. Good footwear is...More

This set of lakes are very pretty with all different shades of turquoise and green and a mountain backdrop which makes them very photogenic. The trailhead car park is large and the trail is clearly defined and marked with optional routes of differing lengths. The...More

Our family of four (2 teenagers) loved this hike. It has a few steep but short hills that are manageable. Each lake is stunning, lakes 2 and 3 were our favorites. The only negative would be several mosquitoes but you're outside in the summer so...More

What a lovely quick hike. With a few ups and downs, I would consider it a level 1 moderate hike. Some steep inclines and declines. We saw folks with canes walking it. Great for families. The views of the lakes are stunning. A must go...More

The loop that includes all five lakes was about 10 km, with mostly moderate and flat trails and periodic difficult climbs. The views were absolutely gorgeous. Kids aged 7 to 10 hiked the whole loop and jumped into the lakes for a really cool swim.

A delightful half-day stroll on well maintained paths, meandering up and down gently. The delight is in the water, the wildlife, the views and the VARIETY of trees...totally different to the endless conifer ranks on the steeper valley sides and longer trails. The woodland here...More

Not too hard a hike. Does, however have rocks and some elevation. Have bug spray for the mosquitos in June. We went Lake 5 to1. A most delightful two hour hike. Make sure to go on a sunny day. The turquoise and green lakes are...More

We took on the short trail which lead you from the 5th lake and then continue into 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st lake. They all have different colors and different mountain reflection. The place is pretty quiet when we were there and the loop take...More

Not a very long hike but this is certainly one of the most beautiful. Just outside Jasper this is a gem of a place with stunning views round most corners. We didn't see any bears (thank goodness) but others had the day we were there.
