We spent quite a bit of time exploring City Hall and got a guide to all the art work on exhibit there. The mayor's chain of office was worth examining. It is on the second floor outside the mayor's office.

Aside from the fountain, there's not much else to do here. During the festival season the whole area is very lively with tons of locals and vendors.

Nice to see people dancing away, skating away, and just having fun, listening to a live jazz band, and seeing the kids dance away. What a great event sponsored by the Art Council and City of Edmonton!!

Went here for the fire works, it’s really cool seeing all the kids swimming in the outdoor pools and stuff, gave a real sense of community.

I love the pool in the summer as children splash around and have fun. The building is beautiful and when the new museum is open in 2018 across the street there will be two wonderful places to enjoy downtown with the family.

There's lots to like here. It's open longer hours than Calgary's, and there seems to be always something happening, or something to see. It's also much brighter than Calgary's, which is quite dark inside. Both have parkades attached, but Edmonton's is connected to more pedestrian...More

Nothing spectacular. After all, it is a City Hall. Nice wading pool near the entrance. And the tunes coming from the bell tower are a nice break from the city traffic. But it is not a "must see" venue.

City Hall is not only used as a place for offices and for city council to meet, but it's a good public space. They have areas to sit in the front and a pool that is available for splashing and for skating in the winter....More
