Have to find the off the beaten track paths to enjoy serenity. Huge park extending miles of SE Calgary. Great for getting nature in the city!

Turned us away because I had 6 kids in my family and only me as an adult. They said I had too many kids so I guess there is no way for me to take my family there.

This is a great way to spend some time. Many trails. Some paved and some not. The creek is nice and there are some bridges to walk across. Lots of picnic tables.

It's a nice park to have a walk if you cannot find anywhere to go in Calgary. Don't expect any surprises and you won't be disappointed.

The park is situated within the city limit and has lots of different options for biking walking and for kids too. Sikome Lake is not that great but the other areas around are really good.

Yes. Depending on where you are coming from in the City of Calgary, light rail 201 or bus #3 goes there. The park remember is huge so there are probably more than one stop.

I would choose Fish Creek Park, but I am opposed to animals in cages, so I am biased. I much prefer walking around a natural park, enjoying the scenery, stopping to sit on a bench and maybe having a bite to eat from the... More
