Stopped here with our tour group. Very nice walk along beautiful scenery. Well maintained pathway. To the lower falls was about 1/2 mile.

Had a walk round Bow Falls and it is just beautiful. Like everywhere in Canada. Even dipped our toes in the clear water. Would recommend a walk for sure.

Take a stroll from town or from the bottom but it is fascinating to go the whole distance.... this river meanders quietly though the town of Banff as you walk along the trail..... you will pass the knobby pines and things pick up a little....More

Lots of good photos at these falls. Take the raft down this river for a very pleasant and scenic ride.

Right in the town of Banff you can sit on benches to view the thundering falls and the Bow river. Easy access by car for free parking.

This is an enjoyable walk from downtown Banff. We walked it in the rain and it was a bit mucky but with the right footwear on it is fine. You can hear the falls before you see them. There are much larger waterfalls to see...More

I walked from downtown Banff to just below Bow Falls. I went across the foot bridge on the way down, and then crossed into town on the Bow River bridge for cars and pedestrians. There are multiple places to stop with benches right on the...More

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
