How fantastic that the school had such a great time. We love inspiring young children to get involved with a museum in an active way - rather than just looking at things. thanks so much for taking the time to write a review Bhavita.

It has always been a delight to visit this museum and the extensive new halls should be great. What one must never overlook however is that the engine room of this place is the volunteer team and the wonderful cake makers.

Lots of feature events throughout the year. Great café - all home made food at bargain prices. The girls want to go over and over again - worth getting an annual membership.

If they have an interest in history then it would. All the displays are interactive, and I think the telephone room would be a favourite.

Yes, but as other people have said, some spaces would be a bit tight for a large buggy. Maybe a baby carrier would be easier if you have one? They have changing facilities so you should be well catered for :)
