Th temple is said to be shiva temple. All temples are getting deteriorated due to atmospheric effects and needs to be protected to educate the ancient archaeological beauties being sculptured by the 7 th an d 8th century architect.

This is one of the temple in pattadakal. It is 13kms from Badami. Entry is 10Rs and 25Rs for Camera. This place is very very well maintained.

This temple reminded me of my recent trip to Odisha where the Mukteshwar and Raja-Rani temples closely resemble this architectural style. Beautiful!
