Nice place to visit even though a lot of the castle to see because of the fire destroyed it. Still a nice day out and things to do. Would recommend. Small coffee shop on the grounds.

Went for sole purpose to walk the grounds with dog. Lot of open well kept parkland but the woodland walk was small. Can’t comment on the castle interior (sure it’s nice) but the outer area is limited by ticketed only access. DisappointedMore

Great open space with games to enjoy. Inside is very sparce due to the big fire they had here but exhibits are appropriate. View from the tower is stunning and worth it. You will need to pay for parking as well as going inside. Great...More

They have dropped the price down now to £3 for the day parking. Entrance fee is £6 an adult £4 4-15yr olds

You pay to park in the grounds and this covers you walking around the park amd grounds. If you want to visit inside the castle and two other attractions in the grounds there is amcharge of £5 for adults. If you are a member... More
