You wait for the train and are carried into the mine. You get off and are alone in the dark with an overload of mineral stones on display and a store. Everything explained in Spanish only. The Spanish speaking guide lets you alone. Later he...More

You take a train into the mine. My friends spoke mostly English so they had a hard time understanding the presentations, but we loved it. Interest information and picture opportunities.

This was one of the few places we went where not knowing the language was a real barrier. We could tell our guide had wonderful stories and was very interesting and funny by watching the reaction of the rest of our group, but he knew...More

Very nice experience, not a problem if you feel claustrophobic as you wont noticed. Lights inside are really good to have a good view of the mine. All very safe to get into. Nice souvenirs at the end of the tour :)

I went there for the crystals not the tour. And it did not disappoint. Beautiful stones at great prices. If you are a stone lover, It’s a must. :)

The El Edin mine tour is both interesting and unique but, given our limited Spanish, we missed much of what seemed to be a thorough description of conditions in the mine over its life. The trip starts with a rail car ride into the mine...More

Not really worthwhile, most of the visit is about walking and listening. Try visiting museums at down town.

I'm not sure I understand your question... If you mean the tour of the mine, you just show up at the lower entrance and pay at the ticket booth. Visitors are not allowed inside the mine unattended. But if you mean a tour... More
