So, you are in the middle of your visit to Morelia, you have visited the "Conservatorio de las Rosas" (the music school) and maybe "Palacio Clavijero", you may be loaded with candies from the "Mercado de Dulces y Artesanias" and it's the middle of the...More

A lively yet tranquil park lined with cheap sidewalk restaurants on one side. Happy hour is every evening; 2 for the price of 1 beer. Have an early dinner on Thursday before the 8:00pm free performance across the street at the Las Rosas music conservatory.

We have eaten a few meals at the Jardin, usually breakfast. Ambience is nice, food and service so-so. If getting a good, cost effective meal is your goal, many places in central Morelia are better options.

This is a nice little garden in the centro. I thought that I was going to see lots of roses, but I saw other flowers. The walk to get there is beautiful!

At least this time of year, there are no particularly interesting vegetation aspects to this garden. However, just up the hill half a block are some very interesting statues, and there are friendly outdoor / indoor cafes that offer 2 for 1 beers. So it...More

My family and I really loved this place, it has several restaurants to choose from. We ate at Viandante and it was delicious.

Nice place to people watch and have a drink in the afternoon. Many of the places are smoke free, which is a real plus. Go there!

Relax with a drink, and if you're lucky, Carlos or one of the many talented musician's in this area will show up and make your day. Great vibe, scenery and local people.
