We hired a local to take us to Santiago north of San Jose del Cabo to the ecological reserve call Sol de Mayo. You need to be a bit fit to climb up and down into this little oasis but well worth it

I did not take a tour. I had a rental car and drove right to Santiago Water Falls from San Jose del Cabo where we were staying. Assuming you are in Cabo, there is a tour via "viator" for about $125. US.
