All of downtown is a construction zone right now. The shop owners are “aggressively “ trying to get people in, but who wants to walk between bulldozers? To bad, it used to be so nice

Loved seeing this historic area. Unfortunately from the recent hurricane a couple weeks earlier there was damage and there was work being done. Aside from that, had an enjoyable day trip. The merchants and locals were very friendly and kind!

The square is beautiful and seems to have a lot of events. There were vendors set up when we were there in the evening selling jewelry, food, souvenirs, etc. It is quite beautiful.

Absolutely. It's the Routa del Desierto. It's opposite the Mega Mall. It will take you directly to where the Marina is and where the tours begin. It's about 30 to 45 minutes in air conditioned comfort. Cost is $ 2 us
