Every Thursday night (5-9) during high season the galleries open their doors and the street artists, dancers, etc. are everywhere! Great art and nice people...family friendly and safe.

Every Thursday they have an art walk in the square. The art is amazing and there is great Mexican food available at the square as well. Really loved this town...wonderful old historical church...lots of art galleries. .everyone super friendly, we walked from our hotel the Hyatt Ziva...it was a fun walk...but you can take the city bus..for 1 dollar..we didn't eat in town but we heard the food is great..

I have stayed up here, but not this year. I always travel by bus from Cabo to come up here and spend days wandering around this community. We were there both for the Thursday evening or walk and again to have an early dinner. The people are friendly, but most of the restaurants and all of the curio shops seem to be very expensive. Yes San Jose Del Cabo was fun! No doubt . There were many art walks etc. night life busy . We didn't do that a whole bunch, but don't miss out on Cobo Wabo cantina .
