We have seen the change in the past few years. They have done a beautiful job in updating San Jose del Cabo with great shops, restaurants, art walks and art galleries. A must when you go to Cabo San Lucas.

We have been here many times, lots goes on. For town events check it out, day of the dead, festivals, events, music on weekends... it's the heart of the city.

If you want to see how the locals enjoy themselves and find lots of great restaurants and shopping ten the old downtown district is a must. We experienced several blocks of diversified restaurants including steak and seafood, Italian, and Mexican - most with great quality and service at very reasonable prices. We also experienced the locals line-dancing on the square... More

I believe this town square was very beautiful and offered tourists from out of town a little taste of Mexican culture. There are nearby shops and restaurants and it looked like it held events at night in the center of the square. Definitely give it a try

The square is surrounded with small gift shops, a beautiful old church and a stage. It's nice to just wander around during the day. In the evening the square was set up with live music.

It was completely safe. Beautiful downtown area! We walked around for hours and visited several shops. All of the people we encountered were friendly and gracious. I highly recommend... More

We walked here from the Hotel zone in SJDC. The shops are all selling mostly the same tourist wares. The church is quaint and small. We visited on a weekend in the morning. We were told the walks are Tuesday and Thursday nights

I enjoyed my time Saturday night when the square was full of locals. There were plenty of street vendors, we tried different snacks. My kids purchased inflatable toys and also some LED lights on toys. There was also some musicians. We had a great time observing locals.
