Gorgeous swimming beach. We walked here from Costa Azul on the beach. That’s a long walk you only can do at low tide since you have to walk around 3 rocky outcrops. About 2 miles. There are 8 free standing palapas for shade if available....More

Waves are fun but not too big for children. Quite swimable. I even saw some fish with mask and snorkel despite the waves. Nice bath house (looks new) with wash rooms and outdoor showers. No food so bring your own.

Personally I feel this is the nicest beach in San Jose - San Lucas area. Gentle gradient into the water, seldom rough waves, ample parking, life guards and decent restrooms and showers. No restaurant as of yet but I’ve heard talk of that possibility.

There is a cove that is very calm. And great for paddle boarding. We saw a whale right off the point. Outside of the cove the waves were intense. And there was an out break of a small stinging jellyfish while we were there.

this beach has white sand, is not threatening most of the time with undertows like some other beaches. Not crowded. Snorkeling good around the rocks. Lots of fish. Clean bathroom. We went back several times. Close to San Jose del cabo.

Palmilla Beach is a lovely, small beach that is protected by a rock out cropping which makes swimming a pleasure. The beach is busiest on Sunday when families gather to picnic and swim. There is parking and the City has done a great job of...More

For 50 pesos we caught the bus from San Jose Del Cabo to Playa Palmilla. The beach is about a 15 minute walk, on a sidewalk, down a gradual hill, through an upper end residental area from the bus stop. There are a few palapas...More

No, but there fishermen and vendors renting chairs/umbrellas so it's not like it's a deserted beach and if you got into trouble there would be no one to yell to but there was no formal lifeguards that I recall.
