It gets very crowded with drunk tourists by mid-afternoon but if you go in the early morning, you'll be joined by other walkers/runners and can take in the beauty of the marina before the hawkers come out and try to sell you a day trip/boat...More

The marina has some excellent restaurants. The shops are cool but there’s better deals off the marina. You can negotiate great deals with smaller boat owners for tours, fishing etc. when walking the marina. Bought some beautiful hand painted plates from two women selling their...More

The Marina is beautiful and loaded with bars and restaurants. There are also a lot of street vendors, but the aren't aggressive. When we were there we actually saw a seal playing in the docks.

We talked to a group with a little booth (white with orange trim) and got fishing and multiple excursions dirt cheap, it cost us 2 hours at a time share and they even coach you on the way there on how to say no and...More

Was here approximately 4 years ago and the marina area has been polished up a bit. A lot of the storefronts have been remodeled and quite beautiful. Very clean. Many people around to direct you should you need help and not pushy

We met at the marina twice for two different tours. Once we went on a smaller boat out by the arch, the sea lions, and Pelican Rock. The guide brought tortillas for its to feed the fish and we saw so many colorful tropical fish....More

Almost every day I enjoyed some time sipping on a cold beverage and watching the boats and tourist going by on the marina boardwalk. It is full of shops and restaurants.

Nice souvenir shops in the area, bars, restaurants but to walk around you get hassled considerably. Want Silver, Cigars? Give your money away? It gets to be a bit much honestly. They even want you to pay to use their public bathrooms. (Seriously!) We made...More
