Finally explored another beach between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. What a magnificent setting. Sad we didn’t stumble upon it earlier. We will, for sure, revisit during our next trip down. Suggestions for your visit: -pack a lunch and drinks -bring towels,...More

We rented a car and beach hopped all along the corridor as the property we stayed at had a beach that was not swimmable. Santa Maria was beautiful and the sailboats anchored in the cove made for some nice pictures with the small mountain in...More

Beautiful beach. Not crowded at all. Water felt great! It was perfectly blue and clear. Only downside was the waters were wayyyyy too rough for our one year old. The current nearly sucked us in one too many times 😬 other than that though..he loved...More

Gorgeous beach, but a little rough for swimming. Calmer on the right side - good for snorkeling; looked like there was a beach bar at that end, but we stayed on the quieter side. Great views, nice and relaxing.

Great beach access. Parking lot with restrooms and showers. Short walk to the quiet beach. The beach is not very sandy but small rocks so be sure to bring sandals or shoes. This can be a popular spot for snorkel cruises to stop and the...More

I was in San josé del cabo with 22 of my family and friends. I stayed here while everyone stayed in all the bigger hotels around the same area. Everyone was jealous that even if they got all inclusive or breakfast included I still had...More

We visited early June. It is a beautiful beach, it is smaller than Chinelo Beach. Unfortunately there was a red flag up on the day of our visit. The waves were rough and high, it was actually scary. So we did not go in the...More

I liked the beach a lot but its kind of far from San Lucas and more from San Jose. Its better if you rent a car to get there.

First of all, these local beaches are not all that easy to find for tourists driving themselves. We passed it at least once and had to turn around but eventually found it. There is a walk down there from the parking lot. From previous reviews...More

Santa Maria is one the three (3) sites people can go snorkel. I had fun in the water, considering that was my first time to snorkel, not bad as a starter. Our tour guide was so accommodating & was patiently instructing the group.

Easy enough to catch the bus there. Also there are taxis waiting everywhere outside your buildings. tell them to pick you up at a certain time and they will. We have always just rented a car while there.

I would suggest you Goggle map it. Chileno beach is closer for you if you're staying in San Jose.and also a "very" nice place to snorkel.
