This was easily one of the most interesting and memorable hikes our family has been on. It had something for everyone. There were tunnels and caves to explore along with beautiful palm trees and cactus. And if you are into geology you will love it....More

Costs 30pesos per persons. Well worth it. Wear good shoes. There are 2 main trails. The one to the right is longer and ultimately leads out of the Canyon past the ranch and back to the parking lot. Both trails can be challenging at times....More

Scenic beauty galore. A fabulous place to hike but challenging for those with balance issues. Hiking poles are helpful here. The drive out from San Carlos is a bit rough but doable, even in our Prius.

You can spend at least 2 hours here. Gravel road to get there, but worth the trip. Go in the morning before it heats up. Very interesting place, especially if you are into rocks and geology.

3 adults ( 2 30's & 1 50 something) we went about 11 am or so, not at all crowded. We did all 5 zip lines, it was my very first time and I had a blast. The climb to the top is a little...More

It was nice to see palm trees and senita cacti on one trail. The hike was not difficult for me except climbing the ladder added a little challenge. We went at mid morning and most hike was under shade.

This is a very beautiful place, definitely worth the trip. I went on a quiet wednesday morning and enjoyed a nice hike with my dog. They do require leashes

This is a cool if truncated little canyon just outside of San Carlos, Sonora. It's got water - usually - but don't count on it. There's an interesting little pool with pond scum and water bugs, and a very dangerous rope ladder thing hanging nearby...More
