Great birding spot just outside town, beautiful views with a great variety of land and sea birds. Go in early morning on early evening.

Have been to Estero el Soldado twice this week. Our dogs love it there. The water is warm at this time of the year (Nov). Saw a pod of dolphins this morning. Worth the 10 min drive from where we are staying in Hermosa area.
