We booked our trip to Mexico at the last minute. For our 3-night stay in San Miguel, our first two hotel choices were booked. We found Doce 18 on the internet. It looked nice but we didn't know what to expect since it is a...More

Great concept, straight from Brooklyn or Mexico City's Polanco or Roma. A bit overpriced? Yes. But somethings are definitely worth it. Jacinto 1930 is a must go for traditional dishes with a contemporary twist, the food is similar to Pujol by Enrique Olvera. Panio has...More

I'll forego reviewing the shopping and art experience as Doce 18 definitely has this cornered. It's most definitely, absolutely, without a doubt, a good place to wander through to admire the art, the photography, the clothing etc. This is where the people with the fat...More

This place is cool! Hard to describe though. Best I can say is I felt as though someone grabbed a piece of Vancouver BC and brought it south. Way south. Service was fantastic. Cocktails were amazingly imaginative and very tasty. We sat in the center,...More

Well located, just a block away from the pink church. Excellent place to have a drink and some lunch "tapas". For the shopaholic there are also trendy clothes. It's a must in San Miguel de Allene!

As others have said, we walked by Doce 18 many times before we noticed that the 3-4 storefronts were all connected inside. It is stunning inside and every shop is just beautiful. It's not authentically "Mexican" in it's design and decorating, but more avant garde...More

We had walked by this place many times before someone told us that tucked back behind the high end boutiques was a wonderful little "food court" .Young local foodies working there way up the staggering Mexican food pyramid. We tried several places and enjoyed our...More

Had gone to Doce 18 as had heard I could get a quick bite to eat there. The space has some neat arquitectural features, but also looks like they used some cheap materials during the remodel of an old home. The front space with the...More

We had burritos from Taco Lab which were very good! Excellent, tends to get packed so getting a table can be hard.

Yes. But as the previous answer states, I'd be careful walking around the galleries.
