There is no commercial activity up here, just a place Ideal to watch sunset and sunrise.The views all round from the top are excellent. The fort follows a legend of Lord Krishna killing the demon Vanasur

It's a distant located abandoned fort named Bamasur ka kila. It provides good view of the nearby locations being a hill top. Nothing spectacular about the place other than an old well which is now not accessible for whatever reason.

Located 20 km from Champawat on the way to Lohaghat, you have to trek approx 2km from the main road. As per legend, lord Krishna defeated Banasur here.
