Ahilyabai was an emperor who is known for her faith in lord Shiv and good Architecture. The ghat is a proof of it. Marvelous place for photography and to explore history.

The Ahilya ghat is actually in Maheshwar rather than Omkareshwar. Very beautiful with the back drop of the Ahilya palace complex and its temples. Although at Omkareshwar also the river ghats are actually very beautiful.
