This review is a lil late but had to write one because of how impressed me and my friend were with our guide-0Juan! We did the tour end of March and it ended up to be a private tour because we were only ones to book it that day. We thoroughly enjoyed finally learning the right way to drink tequila and mezcal! The rooftop bars we went to were great and snacks were good! We also learned how to make a mezcalita which was fun and made it unique! Loved how Juan was so passionate about what he does and how he made the tour fun. Would highly recommend this tour!

Juan was great! My friend and I had so much fun. Everything was amazing - the rooftop views, the drinks, and the food - we couldn’t have asked for a better tour! Juan is super knowledgeable and we learned a ton throughout the day, I highly recommend booking this :-)

We have done two of Urban Adventure's gastro walking tours in Paris before, so when we booked a last minute trip to Playa Del Carmen in Mexico, they were the only excursion website we looked at and we booked "Let's taco 'bout tacos" with very high expectations. What we love about these tours is the enthusiasm, pride and knowledge the tour guides have for their local food and drink that they share with their new friends. Juan, who walked us around Playa Del Carmen, was definitely cut from the same cloth as his Parisian counterparts. Delving into topics about Mexico, the Mayan Riviera and how to farm corn to make the best tacos. He took us to places we would never have gone into without his local knowledge and then let us wallow in our taco induced coma in a stunning roof top bar. Delicious tacos, good company and a great time. Thank you Juan.

We ended up having a private tour because no one else booked the day we did. Nonetheless we had so much fun. Juan was our guide and he was great! We got to try plenty of tequila and Juan taught us all about the different types and how they’re made. Also, the snacks they give you are so good, more like small plates than snacky food like peanuts. It was super nice to be able to see some of the rooftop bars in the city and have all of the drinks and food included in the tour price. Would definitely recommend for your next trip to playa del Carmen.
