The water was fairly calm, and the water temperature was probably in the mid 70s. It’s a great beach for sunbathing, swimming but not for snorkeling—singles, couples, families. It felt safe and totally freeing.

Great beach with beautiful clear water. Lots of sun beds on offer and plenty of places to eat and drink.

I was swiming on north beach between Na-balam & Mia Reef the place is awesome to be on the edge of the sand drinking a beer and spend your time enjoy the paradise and watching the best sunset on the world

Isla Mujeres is great, we loved walking through the streets, The beach here is good but it filled with people trying to sell knock off watches, souvenirs and massages. Go further afield as there are nicer, calmer places.

One of the nicest beaches I've ever seen with nice beach bars. It stretches along in curves. So when you walk along you will always catch nice views.

The ocean at Playa Norte gently slopes outward making it perfect for standing in the warm water and enjoying the ocean. There are little to no rocks or shells so water shoes aren’t necessary. The blue water is beautiful.

Nice beach to walk with a good swing bar however they have lost a lot of sand from last time we were there. Think most was washed around the corner to NW side of island.

Don’t hire a cart- it takes 5 minutes to walk and though the sidewalks are narrow and busy in the afternoon- it would be more stressful from what I saw to take time to hire a cart and then be amongst all the people driving... More

I really liked Isla Caracol, close to Playa Norte and the restaurant area. Very friendly staff and daily cleaning.
