The staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This was the favorite part of our one day visit to Isla Cozumel. I visited with two of my friends and we did the chocolate experience tour and it was excellent. I highly recommend.

My husband and I went on a tour...against his wishes! HOWEVER, after it was finished, he was actually glad he did. We learned quite a bit about chocolate that we never knew. Being about to make our own (hot) cocoa mix was fun and tasted...More

Went to Cozumel on a cruise and decided to skip the touristy shore excursions. I’m so glad that we did. A $10 taxi ride to and from this little shop in a residential neighborhood was all it took to give me and my Mom our...More

Definitely recommend to do if you are in Cozumel or somewhere nearby. We had a flight from Cozumel to Mexico City in the evening and decided to do the tour before that. Our guide was great and she gave an excellent introduction to the history...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Chocolate Factory. It is off the beaten path which tends to make one apprehensive at first, but it turns into a very interesting and colorful establishment. Eduardo and his daughter gave us a very comprehensive explanation of how...More

We attended the tour, and we loved it! They were very knowledgeable, they took the time to answer questions, and based the tour off of the chocolate that we enjoy. Worth the visit, and want to do this tour again in the future.

Learn how to make chocolate by those in the know. None of your crappy Cadbury’s or Hershey’s here, this is the real deal. Fun & educational don’t bother if you like mass produced chocolate, otherwise fun way to spend an afternoon.

We went twice and just walked in. I’m not sure if there is a strict schedule. I do know they work with the cruise ships.

Cozumel is an island off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula across from Playa del Carmen. It is a 40 minute ferry ride from Playa del Carmen and they leave every hour usually and there are a couple of ferry lines available.
