Absolutely fabulous! I can't praise Flavio and Carol enough.
From our first contact with Carol who made suggestions regarding the different activities, sites and cenotes they had available, our experience has been amazing. Carol happily organised a private tour for myself and my husband and offered a very reasonable quote without any of the usual pushy sales techniques.
On the day of our tour Flavio was helpful, funny, knowledgeable and patient. As soon as we got into the car he was offering us coffee, water and breakfast. The car we travelled in was very comfy and Flavio encouraged us to help ourselves to the cooler, which was constantly restocked with various snacks, water, soft drinks and beers!
The drive from our hotel to Chichen Itza was a few hours so Flavio lined up two dvds about Mayan history to keep us entertained which we found really interesting.
We visited Chichen Itza and Ek Balam. Flavio organised two phenomenal tour guides for both sites. Throughout the tours Flavio would bring us bottles of water to make sure we were hydrated. He also very sweetly provided us with a large umbrella to keep the sun off of us. He was very knowledgable about the ruins and happily shared information about the mayan ruins and mayan history. He was happy to go at our pace and we never felt rushed. He took us for a lovely traditional Mexican snack and lunch.
While we looked around the ruins and swam in the beautiful cenote, Flavio worked hard to make sure he photographed every minute of it and provided us with a USB full of photos at the end of the day, which was such a sweet touch to the end of a brilliant day!

We were so delighted with our experience with Flavio! This was the only excursion we chose to do during our trip and it was so fun. We were able to see chichen itza and a Cenote near by, two things we weren’t sure how to plan our selves. Karol and Flavio were very accommodating they helped us with transportation, picked us up and dropped us off in Tulum. During our experience we had some good laughs with the group and enjoyed the company of the other couples. Flavio has a great personality and we will never forget our trip to Mexico because of this experience. Book ahead this is an excursion you won’t regret going on!

Flavio provided our group with an amazing all day tour of three different cenotes. We contacted Carol via WhatsApp to arrange the tour, and she responded immediately and fit us in to their schedule on short notice (thank you Carol!). Flavio picked us up promptly from our hotel in Playa del Carmen and gave us a summary as to what to what to expect for the day. Flavio had thought of everything: snacks and beverages in the vehicle, a video during the drive that explained the history of the area, lunch included at a great place in Tulum and fresh mangos for dessert. Everything was included which was helpful as we didn’t need exact change for the admission to the cenotes. Flavio also provided the snorkel gear and most importantly was our photographer for the day. He spent the whole day filming our group with his GoPro cameras and gave us two flash drives at the end of the day to take home.
Flavio was a great guide and the entire day was perfect. We thought the price for the tour was very reasonable and worth easily double what he charged with everything that was included.
If you’re looking to do any tour in the Yucatán Peninsula, I would start with Flavio. He’s great!

We had the most amazing and memorable time with Flavio. You can’t go wrong with his tours! The photos and videos he captures throughout the day alone make it worth it. He is an excellent photographer and I will cherish the photos long after our trip.
My husband and I wanted the full experience so we booked two days viewing Chichen Itza and Ek Balam one day and then Tulum and Coba the next. These were LONG days but the waking up early and hours spent were absolutely worth it!
It’s so hard to summarize in short our experience but I feel like not only did we get to learn so much about Mayan history and culture, we also learned about Mexican culture. Flavio brought us to eat with the locals. We had authentic, homemade tacos for breakfast and old fashioned Mexican coffee. He bought us coconuts to drink and snack thru out the day. He provided us beer and really catered to our every need.
If you are hesitating, don’t! You will have the best experience!

Had a fantastic day with flavio. 3 of us went on this tour and he picked up another couple, making it 5 people on the tour that day.I believe that his bus can sit about 9 people. Small tour which is what we wanted. Website is a bit vague but flavio tours does everything for you. All the fees for the sites, locker, food, life vest etc is included in his fee. Booking online is more of an enquiry if they have space avaliable for the day you want. They only take cash $US or pesos. No detailed itinerary is online but we had a great day which began at pick up from our hotel at 6am . He then picked up the other couple and were off to chichen itza. Stop for gas which had coffee etc. Bathroom stops. Arrived at chichen itza by 9.30 ish am. ( chichen itza is an hour behind cancun). Flavio and a official tour guide took us around the site. Flavio takes fun pictures of everything. Bring your own flash drive or you can buy one for $10 US from him . We got about 40 mins to explore by ourselves .Left chichen itza by around 1pm. Arrived at the cenote which had a restuarant also. Cenote samaal and restaurant ( Selva maya) was a buffet . Food was quite good. Many options. Afterwards we got to swim in the cenote. We didnt swim but we walked down by the water and there is an observation area on top. Beautiful cenote. Life jackets required and purse stored in a locker. Flavio arranged everything. No line up for us and we beat most of the massive crowds with his tour.Flavio carried water for us in his backpack at chichen itza which was great since it is so hot there. He gave us some umbrellas too. His bus was stocked with chips, cookies, banana, sodas and beer. Finally we went to the colonial town of Valladolid and spent about 30 mins walking around a small park( Parque Principal Francisco Cantón Rosado) with a fountain and some vendors selling snacks, ice-cream etc. Return to cancun hotel by 8.30pm. Long day but fantastic . He also gave us a mayan calander with our birthday or anniversary on it. Very unique experience.

This is, hands down, the highest quality tour of Chichen Itza being offered. It may seem a little pricier than others, but absolutely everything is included. Transportation to and from Chichen Itza (we were picked up and dropped off in Tulum), swimming at the cenote (including the fee for a life vest -- all the other tours there had their customers pay for their life vests), lunch, snacks, water, soda, beer, the entrance fee to Chichen Itza, a guided tour from THE BEST guide they have there. And on top of all of this, Flavio took pictures and videos of us all day and when he dropped us off he had all the content loaded onto a thumb drive that he gave us.
This tour is the best because we got to do everything at our own pace and never felt rushed. There was time for guided tours, and there was time to explore on our own. Having someone else take all of the pictures allowed us to take everything in and be in the moment but still have an incredible photo collection of our time there.

Flavio is amazing! His tour is very comfortable, he gives great details about history of every location. We wanted to specifically go to ik kil! He took our request. We also had veg dietary restrictions and he made sure we got good vegetarian food.

My girlfriend and I went on the full day tour of chichen itza, a cenote and valladolid last week and it was perfect. Beforehand we did some research and found that flavio’s tours were described as well organized, recommended and good fun. It was exactly as expected and well worth the money!
It started off with a 6AM pick up at our resort near cancun where we joined up with a small group of travellers from Brazil and the US. They were super nice and great excursion partners, very friendly and fun. 3 hours in the car and we arrived at Chichen Itza for a tour by Enrique. Enrique was a certified guide and had all the historical facts of the site, Flavio was great at adding context, organizing the photos and ensuring we were well cared for. The tour lasted about 2 hours and then we had time to shop at the local vendor sites. Then we arrived at the selva maya cenote for a buffet lunch and then afterwards we got changed to jump into the sinkhole. This was a great experience as we got to essentially swim in an underground cavern but without any risks. The trip ended off in the historical town of Valladolid. We made it back to our resort just under 14 hours after we were picked up. It’s a long day but you have chances to relax during the rides.
Overall, it was a great day, I would highly recommend Flavio’s Tour’s!

My friends, my wife and I did the Chichen Itza tour with Cenotes and Valladolid, and it was the best tour I ever done!
First of all, with Flavio you only need to take money to buy souvenirs for yourself, everything else (water, snacks, tickets, lunch) will be covered by Flavio, which to us was great as we just had to follow him around while he sorted out everything.
In total there were 8 people in the tour, which was great as we were a small group and we were able to get a really great experience.
We left early from Cancun Hotel zone, about 6am, and that allowed us to get early to Chichen Itza and get really great pictures before all the crowds gathered.
Flavio really goes above and beyond, he took A LOT of pictures with a professional camera, which in the end allowed us to enjoy the place while he just instructed us where to be to have the best pics in Chichen Itza. The tour had an official guide which provided us with a lot of useful information about the site. Flavio also carried water bottles and snacks for us which he provided during our tour, everything free of charge!
After Chichen Itza we went for lunch in a great restaurant by the cenote, and after that we went for a swim at the cenote, where Flavio gave us his GoPro to take pictures while swimming and jumping in the cenote.
At the end of the tour Flavio gave us a Flash Drive with ALL the pictures and videos he took during our tour, which is AWESOME.
Do I like his tour? Let me just say if I ever need to do another tour where Flavio can be the guide I know that it will definitely be 100% worth the price!

Flavio's tour was the best tour I've been on not only in Mexico, but any country! He and the other tour guide each have many many decades of experience and it shows. The trip spanned from the very early morning to late at night - a half day in chichen itza and the rest of the day swimming in a cenote and visiting the nearby town. The education was fantastic. Flavio is a true extrovert and had a passion for history! Thank you so much!!

I'd be leaving from Cancun, and would prefer to go as early as possible to avoid crowds. That evening I need to end up in Tulum. I'd like to do a cenote if possible as well, do you have anything that could do all of this?
