We ventured off the beaten path a bit, and headed to Mercado 28 (Market 28) from some information we received from the hotel staff. We were glad we did, the vendors were not as aggressive as Coral Market, and their prices were much more reasonable,...More

Do not set foot in this place! Sellers will try to scam you by selling items for 3 or 5 times what they’re worth. The worst offenders are the tequila vendors. They ply you with free tequila shots and then try to sell you their...More

Over priced. Lots of stuff but priced for 'tourists'. Better to go behind the market on the side streets and bargain.

Very similar to Coral Negro Flea market, but located in downtown Cancun (near the WalMart). It is a bit of a hassle to get to since it is a ways from the Hotel zone, but the prices can be a little cheaper. Aggressive sales people,...More

Souvenirs. This is the place to be. Anything you can think of can be found here. Mayan calendars. Masks. Sombrero. Cigars. Food. Prepared to be hounded by the sellers. Just keep walking and say no gracias. Everything is negotiable. Go online and taking bus there...More

Lots of textiles (embroidered blouses and dresses), leather goods, jewelry, tequila, Mayan/Aztec artifacts. We got all our shopping done there, and would go back.

Hi there You will have to park on the street. No parking lots or parkades available. Best to take a cab or the bus. Market 23 not far from 28 and definitely worth a see.
