One of the most beautiful little towns I've ever visited - perched on a mountainside, with white buildings, red roofs and winding, cobblestone streets. It is a pleasure just to walk and visit the various stores full of silver goods and restaurants with good food....More
Geouges chuch, very detaild, big , the Zócalo has plenty of areas to eat, shop, and the most walk, there Are many silver shops
i really like this little town with tons of visitors, no place for a car, only walking up and down lots of guides to show you stuff and nice atmosfere i would come back for a 2 days at most.
Not very big but it's crowded and seems fun. you can wander around and drink coffee from 2nd floor bar and buy some silver.
There are vendors every day walking the zocalo showing their wares. I loaded up on the colorful weaved baskets and am now enjoying these bright colors in my home. There are restaurants that you can sit and enjoy a drink where you have a birds...More
Too many cars and pollution on the city center... need to wear a mask...😁 It’s a pity for such a beautiful town. Something has to be done ✅
The Zocalo is a very comfortable and welcoming site for tourists visiting this city. We found it very clean as we did the rest of this city. Very impressed with Taxco.
Decent zocalo, but super crowded with tourists. Not very impressed with this town... more of a tourist trap than anything else. Tons of people trying to get you into their shops around the zocalo. Unless you’re into silver, it’s not that exciting.
The Zocalo is a very special part of a very special town. It's great to hang out there and be part of the action. It's a little bit like the centre of a fairy tale town square. Just lovely.
