Great place for gathering info about living in Oaxaca, also provide lectures, yoga,and of course, books, as well asopportunities to be involved in the community. Unfortunately, not much going on in April, but still a good source of information.

The center for expats in Oaxaca. Has over 20,000 donated English language books. Provides information on Oaxaca and a place for expats and visitors to gather. Conducts lectures on local culture and helps visitors find Spanish language tutoring.

This was near my bed and breakfast, it seemed quite a few English speakers were using the place. Some nice books to read in English and Spanish. Ads for an immersio. Spanish class, knowledgeable librarians and computers to use

Great book selection, if you are coming to Oaxaca to read. Uncomfortable atmosphere, good for a meeting pointe and moving on to real ‘Oaxaca’ somewhat else.
