Barrio Alameda combines and synthetized the contemporary design, art, and -even- food and mezcal from Mexico, faraway of the typical handcraft, all of them into an Art Deco building of the earliest 20th century. (Don't let it go if you don't try the delicious Marquesitas)

We visited this place on a Friday night, it was small but it was very busy, it has a new concept and some restaurants around where you can get a pitch of beer or some good food.

Do some exercise and climb four flours to the rooftop of this 1930's building overlooking the Alameda and all the wonderful colonial churches surrounding it. The contrast with the XXI century architecture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is amazing. Have a local brew from...More
