We always visit the Virgin of Guadalupe. We always take flowers and put on the side wall. We always light candles for family members and deceased relatives. It is very spiritual.

Beautiful experience, we arrived during the holy rosary. It usually rains, maybe packing a small umbrella just in case. We are definitely coming back next year !!!

It was amazing to climb to the church at the top. The views of Mexico City are breath taking. This is one place you must visit when you are in Mexico City

If you are a catholic you must do this but for others it is a kind of ticking the box. The new church is useless. We could not actually see the historical sites.

A beautiful and holy place. Many pilgrims, but it is so spread out that it does not feel uncomfortable. The miracle of the tilma is a beautiful message of God’s mercy and love.

Just be careful, the place is always crowded, particularly on Sunday; therefore, it is the ideal place for pickpockets. If you are driving, there is an easily accessible large parking area under the church. Alternatively... More

It's not so far from the airport, but I can't tell you how much it is. I think Uber should be a good selection to do it.
