This place is amazing. We could have spent more time here than our tour allowed. I love the beautiful presentation of the artifacts. The displays are unforgettable and the items they have represented here are too too amazing to describe. I would love to go...More

Well presented collections with explanations in Spanish/English. Divided into different time periods and areas of pre-hispanic Mexico. Exhibits included outside models and tombs to climb down into.

I loved the current exhibit which was the beautiful story of Xochimilli but even more compelling were the main exhibits around evolution. Amazing fossils I'd only seen in picture previously!

You need about two days to fully see everything in this museum. However, do call ahead of time to make sure all exhibitions are open. Some may be close for maintenance or renovation.

I strongly suggest the 2-3 hour tour as this Museum has a vast collection that comprises several precolumbian cultures.
