We stayed in JW Marriott which is at the heart of this rich & famous neighborhood called Polanco. We choose this hotel for its closeness with Chapultepec Park which has enough attractions to keep you busy for couple of days. Polanco is Mexico City's social...More

Polanco is a very nice upscale district. I stayed at a hotel in this area and would do that again. There are lots of restaurants and shopping malls. It's clean, walkable and safe. I really enjoyed it!

We enjoyed our stay in Polanco, a safe and walkable area with many fine restaurants and an excellent opportunity to see how the other half lives.

Polanco is a fancy neighbourhood which has loads of ultramodern shopping malls which are interesting for those interested in architecture (and shopping). Start your visit with Musei Jumes, Museo Soumaya and/or Aquario Inbursa (all at the same street corner). Afterwards, walk through Antara Fashion Hall...More

Polanco is where the money is. That becomes quickly obvious to the most casual observer. It is a very pleasant community with important cultural assets, very attractive architecture, both residential and commercial and great restaurants.

The area is well kept, and is high end. You can find nice restaurants, and designer stores. You can relax, and also walk a little bit around.

My favorite area in Mexico City. As everyone had told me, this is the most upscale area in the city. Clean, great restaurants. Makes me want to move there or at least go for another visit just explore that area more!

There is very high end shopping here. Most high end stores have a guard stationed at the door so the sidewalks are safe to walk around. There are also more reasonably priced shops but one needs to look a little harder for these.I found a...More

Here are some of favorites based on decor and food. La Unica & J by Jose Andres. Really you can't go wrong with the restaurants in polanco since they all have their own unique style and flavor.

Google maps will guide your journey. If walking is possible for you, enjoy the view. With bags, take a Uber. Very cheap and great availability in CDMX.

I would say it is safe, definitely one of the most upscale areas of Mexico City with high end shopping and restaurants. I do not know anything about the dental services there.
