This is one of my favorite plazas in Guanajuato. It's above the streets and closed off to traffic. There are big old trees and benches, and lots of cafes and restaurants where you can sit outdoors and have a drink or meal.
Try to get there around noon and get your second dose of coffee there or even your lunch/brunch. It probably is one of the most quiet places in Guanajuato. A pearl in a quite busy little university town. Plenty of trees all around the place....More
This is a very lovely square in the center of town with many bars, restaurants (none very good) and a few shops. Not as fancy and crowded as the Jardin of the Union, it is a nice place to have a drink and watch people.
