Be here for the sunset, may be a little before so you can see the transition of the city. It's magical, by far the best views of the city and it's only a close tram ride from the main square.

Take the funicular for a quick visit to this important monument. But, apart from the monument, the best views of the city down below. Can walk down to the city if you’d like to stroll and take in more great views.

This was a great place to look over the entire city with a funicular to the lower zone. Lots of shopping in the area but not many restaurants

A beautiful view awaits, but the hike is a little steep. There are two access points from the center, mark “Subida a San Miguel” and a cable car. The monument is imposing. The hike is not suited for small children nor if you have knee...More

The monument is quite big; Really interesting story. But the cool stuff is actually the city view you get once you’re on the top. You can get there by using the “Funicular” which is like $25 MXN to go up and another $25 to go...More

This is a must do when you travel to Guanajuato as you can see the entire downtown area from here. I was able to visualize things better after looking out from this viewpoint.

I really don't know where it starts because we were given tickets by our B&B host (we stayed at Casa Zuniga) to ride the funicular. See my reviews on Casa Zuniga which is located on top of the hill with a beautiful view... More
