This company seems to be closed. Homepage is nonexistent and no one answers the phone. However, it is still on TripAdvisor and tours can still be booked online. We have booked a tour, but never received a confirmation. Luckilly we got the money back... Don't book a tour here! If you want to see waterfalls book a tour with Terra 3 instead, they are amazing!

The guides from "Tlacuache Adventures" were very professionals nice and friendly.
Very much recommend if you are in the area.
Salodos a Allen y Jose desde Israel, fue una aventura increhible.

My girlfriend and I just got back from an amazing trip with Allen and Xochitl. We took the early bus from Mexico City and they picked us up at Cuernavaca Centro. We road up into the mountains where they introduced us to Mil Cascades. After a great safety talk and practice we repelled down a 100ft waterfall into a pool of turquoise water. We then went down the canyons performing increasingly high jumps into amazing blue pools. This area is truly a treasure of Mexico and Xochitl and Allen were consummate professionals.
Thanks again for an amazing time!!!!

Tlacuache Adventures surpassed all my expectations! The hike to see the Popocatepetl volcano at 4.250m was breathtaking and with the perfect dose of adventure! The guides José, Uriel & Alan were out of this world!! Experts in their field, they explained all the landmarks and surroundings, but above they are all just really great guys to spend time with. The good humor and "joy of living" just made the experience memorable and unique. As a foreigner traveling alone in Mexico, this was the highlight of the trip and I can't wait to come back to go on other adventures!

Fuimos al viaje Rio Subterraneo: It was incredibly fun! On the website, the company lists this tour as a beginner's level course, but that doesn't mean that it's not challenging! The guides were incredibly good about making sure our group was safe, entertained, and challenged.
This tour is challenging, wet, and fun! We drove 1.5 hours from Cuernavaca and changed into wetsuits and hiking gear. Wetsuits, harnesses, helmets, and headlamps are provided. (Believe me, you'll need the headlamp!) We walked 15 mins from the van to the entrance of the cave, where they gave us a tutorial on safety and on using the headlamps. We then descended a steep walk into the cave. If you don't like heights, this may not be very fun for you, but it's safe as long as you listen to the guides. Wearing hiking boots or water shoes with a good grip on the soles is highly recommended.
After we descended into the cave, there was no where to go, but into the river! Here is where your shoes will get soaked through. Wearing a bathing suit isn't necessary, but I had on a white shirt that's now brown (the water is clean, but not clear). Wetsuits are provided, but if you'd like to rappel, make sure you talk to the company before you book! Everyone participating in our tour thought there would be rappelling, but the tour was challenging enough without the rappels.
After walking through the caves, we emerged at Dos Bocas and walked up stairs about fifteen minutes. Overall it was challenging, fun, and a great experience! We even stopped to eat on the way back at a small, but good restaurant.
I'd return and would recommend this tour to friends.

My daughters (15 and 20 years) and I did the Cañón del Tesoro tour in Tepotzlan with Tlacuache Adventures. We have visited the Tepotzlan and Cuernavaca area for many years, but this was a totally different experience and we had a fabulous time. Luis and Rogerio were great tour guides...fun and informative, as well as very safety concious. I would highly recommend this tour and Tlacuache Adventures. We will definitely sign up for another tour when we are in Mexico again.

Super fun excursion. Guides were wonderful and super patient with us (on the jumps and the hike back up to the car). The rappel was amazing and the entire experience was great.
