Really enjoyed the boat trip through the mangrove swamp where we saw numerous birds and crocodiles of various sizes in their natural habitat. Very knowledgeable naturalist guide and boat captain. Area is protected by the state as a natural park

We found this tour very informative. We saw quite a few different species of birds and quite few crocs! Our tour guide was very well informed. It is relaxing to drift on the water in between the mangroves...so surreal.

We just showed up and there was a lot of space. This isn't always the case though. You can book ahead by contacting JR through the Vallartainfo webpage or PM him. He's all over the Puerto Vallarta forum at Tipadvisor .
