Hands down one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by many smiling faces, including the owner himself. He offered us the best table in the restaurant, which included a million dollar view of the ocean...More

Asked around upon arrival for a boat tour to the islands. Paid $130 to hire a private panga for 2, including taxes etc, for a boat trip. Brilliant. Some nice little shops here and food places on the waterside to enjoy after the trip.

We stayed a few days in Puerta Vallarta and a few days in Punta de Mita. Beaches can not be compared at all, nothing like the beaches of Punta de Mita. Will be back for sure and hopefully soon!

Nice and quiet area, quite a bit further north from Puerto Vallarta but worth visiting, at least one time!

Just about 40 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta airport this exclusive area is worth the visit. High end hotels and villa developments call this area home.

Great side trip from Puerto Vallarta. Just take the bus from Walmart and tell them where you want to go. Nice shopping and great restaurants without so much hussel and bussel

Spent there four days. It is an expensive destination, still worth every penny. Security is outstanding. Food options and beaches are great.

Glad we rented a car and went all the way around the Bandarous Bay and also went to Salito! Car Rental was very reasonable!

A must visit to this special beach. We sat under the palapa at the restaurant for 2hrs and just gazed out on the ocean. After lunch we hired a panga boat and went whale watching off the point towards the islands. Magical!

We rented a car while there and had no problems. Be advised that renting a car means ACCEPTING THE RENTING AGENCY'S INSURANCE. As you see renting a car is cheap but adding the insurance at often as much as $50 a day adds... More
