Excellent trip. They use a small boat (there were about a dozen folks on my tour). We saw about 20 whales, some dolphins, and a huge stingray. The crew was great (sorry, forgot their names!) and the commentary good. I would definitely do this again.

Literally the pictures you see are what you experience. The whales were so close that when they jumped we could hear and feel their splashes. It was an amazing experience.

Yes, you can bring your own camera. I don't know the specific address for Vallarta adventures but it is an easy cab ride.
