They changed the circle from the way it used to be but now it lost its charm it still has a fountain with lights at night and they used the old statue of Diana the huntress on top . Its sort of a modern version...More

Locals hated this new version of the Diana, an Acapulco icon. The previous one was low down and usually obscured by buses or protestors. This one is way up in the air and pointing to Mexico City from where the motherload of our tourists arrive....More

I usually stay around the Diana Circle when visiting Acaplco. Always full of people as it is in the middle of the bay. They have changed the statue and it is now pointing to the right direction.

A couple of years ago the statue of Diana was very big. When Mexico was in the soccer play offs, a bunch of people got on the statue and broke it. It has been rebuilt as seen in the picture. Only problem--the protestors this year...More
