Once we got downtown, first thing we visited was this beautiful old cathedral. We did go inside and mass was being held. I would really like to hear a presentation on its history and other significance, but otherwise it’s a don’t-miss spot.
I love the location and structure of this Cathedral. You can walk around it’s plaza and straight to Malecón. There’s a coffee shop at the corner of the Cathedral with great coffee. You have pharmacies, ice-cream shops and all kinds of stores.
