We had a short visit to this church in La Paz. It was quiet and cool. A nice respite from the streets of La Paz. We enjoyed our time in this holy space.

A modest cathedral across from the Plaza. It is not too large or ornate provides a peaceful refuge from a hot day sightseeing.

Very pretty cathedral in the heart of La Paz. A short walk to the park and restaurants. Interesting bit of history.

Once we got downtown, first thing we visited was this beautiful old cathedral. We did go inside and mass was being held. I would really like to hear a presentation on its history and other significance, but otherwise it’s a don’t-miss spot.

Simple, well kept and the center of town...worth the walk there and maybe to sit in the park if hot!

The Cathedral is easy to find, just a few blocks up from the Malecon in La Paz. What you see is what you get - it's a church. We looked for info about its history inside the church but did not find any. To the...More

Gorgeous cathedral, just a few blocks up from Malecon. Stained glass is beautiful. Fascinating history. Picturesque facade. Worth a visit, especially for anyone who is interested in the California missions. Plan 30-60 minutes to appreciate the whole thing...although you can do a quick perusal in...More

While walking around La Paz we stopped in to look at this historical building. While I gave it 5 stars it's not for the attraction so much as for the history. We have traveled up & down the west coast & have always enjoyed stopping...More
