Love this adventure. The guides are great-- we felt totally safe with them at all times. They told us stories about the local environment and their community which made us feel connected to the place. The kayaking is an easy paddle across a small bay,...More

I've been to La Bufadora with my family in the past when I was younger but I don't remember having the best experience like this time. It was awesome, feeling the breeze and the water rising high enough wetting everyone who was at the bottom...More

Fun family excursion. We arrived around 930 am the shops were just getting started. Be ready for all the vendors calling you to buy from their shop. We purchased t-shirts from the 2 for $10 place. Nice mother and daughter team and good t-shirts. If...More

Kind of a weird place to go, but if you're close, it's worth checking out. The little market along the way has some cool artisans (and a lot of touristy kitchy stuff).

This was our first cruise, and we booked the Bufadora kayaking tour through Carnival. Best activity of our vacation! The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and the company provided shortie wet suits for anyone who wanted them. We opted not to use them. We...More

It was a quick ride to get there and seeing the blowhole and just enjoying the views but that as good as it gets. There is a strip of vendors and restaurants all competing against each other and hassling you to buy something. Enjoy the...More

I was there August 2017 with friends and family, It was fun! Pros: La Bouradora is basically where the waves crash on the ciffs causing then to shoot up 24-50 feet in the air. There is a closed off street you have to walk down...More

The Bufadora itself is a magnificent geological feature. There are moments when the height of the water is about 100ft and it comes with such a strength it gets you real soaked unexpectedly. But the area around has been so commercialized, it takes away from...More

We met our tour guide Eugenia right outside the port and she drove us to La Bufadora and back. Her SUV/Van was nice and clean and she offered us water. We were so happy with how nice she was as she told us all about...More

I did not become familiar with the tour you mentioned, but many of the tours eminate from the port area where the cruise ships dock. We lived in Punta Banda and personally saw bus after bus taking folks to the blow hole... More

La Bufadora is probably 35 miles from the port, south in the country and up into the foothills and down the other side to sea level. You’ll definitely need good transportation to get there.
