La Bufadora Well, Ensenada isn’t that super exciting when you arrive via cruise ship. (Not sure if it is more exciting arriving via other means...) We booked the “blowhole” tour with our cruise line. The signal to noise ratio is really low, meaning that the...More

We went to La Bufadora twice during our stay in Ensenada, the first time wasn’t that great, it was low tide so you don’t even get wet or close to being wet. It’s like a blow hole effect and vendors everywhere. They sell food ,...More

Spent around an hour at LaBufadora. Saw a couple of good blows but I think it would be hit and miss depending on the force of the sea. Market stalls all the way down to the sea from car park. Around 40 minute ride in...More

Although this restaurant is a little touristy (room for a busload of visitors), the food is outstanding and the prices are more than friendly. You know a place in Mexico is authentic when there are chickens roaming around. If you're from the states, don't be...More

It’s beautiful. It’s worth seeing as there are only three in the world and this is the second largest. Be polite to the market vendors, just say “no thank you” if you aren’t interested and they all said “ok, have a good day”. Yes, they...More

I would not go too much out of my way to visit this, but if you're in the area and have a few hours it is a cute and pleasant place to visit this natural phenomenon. Be warned that it is a tourist trap, with...More

We stopped at La Bufadora on a cruise stopover it was the best. The blowhole, the scenery, the atmosphere and the music as well as the vendors. I found buying in town cheaper than the vendors out there especially when it came to leather. Great...More

We took a cruise with Carnival to Ensenada with our kids who are 12 and 14. First off, Carnival was awesome and we highly recommend their cruises. Second, if you are going to La Bufadora don't bother booking a shore excursion with Carnival. They want...More

La Bufadora was the highlight of our cruise ports on this trip. The blowhole is a must see and the drive there which is 45 minutes is enjoyable. Our guide was very interesting and told us about the culture, history and current news about Ensenada....More

La Bufadora is well off of the beaten path. There is one road in and out, about 45 minutes driving from Ensenada. Once near the site itself, there are several pay parking lots with a 10 minute walk down to the blowhole... More

I agree, I wouldn't spend too much time, as far as the shopping, you'll get better pricing if you haggle in downtown and that seems to be safer and much much better places to eat, go to la guerrerense cart for lunch or... More
