It’s the typical night markets found all across the tourist islands of Thailand. The items for sale and consumption are also very typical. It opens from 6pm but most stalls are up and ready before that. The area is not big, 30 minutes to finish...More

There are lots of shops selling clothes, jewelry, beach stuff, souvenirs etc along the mai road which follows the beach. The walk is pretty in the day as there are sculptures along the waterfront and many shops and restaurants. The view from restaurant roof top...More

Spent 8 days here. The only thing missing compared to Phuket was the street vendor ice cream. Only 2 vendors we found both charging more for less and lesser quality ice cream. Otherwise plenty of shops, restaurants, massage parlors, bars, etc.. Much quieter thankfully than...More

This has nothing to do with walking. This is strolling between shops and eating stalls. Fairly aggressive sellers. Bargaining to more than 50% is the message. Nothing special at all. There are hundreds of streets in the world where there is more to see. Unfortunately,...More

This is a great tourist area for shopping eating and drinking with massage and bars and restaurants and shops. The atmospheric Boogie Bar with live music is in the walkway between the two entrance/exits.

Nothing especially exceptional but it has all the Thai street food under "one roof" so that's really convenient for one to try all the food. Suggest for you to find a table first before having the rest in your group to buy the food. Terribly...More

We've stayed there for a few days and this was the only activity you can do in an evening. Walking, getting a massage, a tattoo, buying some cheap clothes ans souvenirs, booking an excursion.
